Hi everyone from the Walter E Washington Convention Center in Northwest Washington, DC for the Madness Boxing card, the final pro card for 2013.
This card was scheduled to start at 6 PM but we are quite a ways from getting started here. We may be closer to 7 PM at this point.
We are also unaware of how many bouts will be on this card because there is no word on whether Eric Govan will still be on the card. There was also a question about Demond Nicholson but I just saw him test the ring so his bout should be in good shape. That means that there will be nine bouts on the card tonight. We'll update you if necessary up to the first bell.
A personal note concerning a milestone. The post you are reading is the 5,000th post in the eight-year history of Boxing Along The Beltway. Once again, I thank everyone involved with the Beltway Boxing Community for providing more than enough to write about!
