Manassas, VA super featherweight "The Bolivian Queen" Jennifer Salinas returns to the land of her upbringing and will try to win the vacant WBF (World Boxing Federation) Super Featherweight title when she faces Yolis Marrugo "La Diablita" Franco of Cartagena, Colombia on Saturday, November 16 at Estadio Ramón Tahuichi Aguilera in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.

Salinas (14-3, four KO's) was born in Virginia but spent her formative years in Bolivia, the birthplace of her father.  This bout was originally scheduled for September 14 but was postponed.  Salinas has stayed in Bolivia training for the contest as well as doing personal appearances and charitable work.  Salinas is coming off a six-round unanimous decision win over DJ Morrison on March 30 in DC.  This will be Salinas's second try at a championship.  She lost a 10-round unanimous decision to Jackie Nava for the interim WBC Female Super Bantamweight title on November 6, 2010 in Yucatan, Mexico.

Franco (15-8-3, seven KO's) is a veteran whose career dates back to 1998.  Franco is a former WIBA Super Featherweight champion who also challenged for the WBA Bantamweight and Super Bantamweight titles during her career.  Franco last fought on September 8, 2012 and won a six-round unanimous decision over Olga Salas in Cartagena.
