It looks like IBF Junior Welterweight champion Lamont Peterson will be defending his title in the not too distant future. Earlier today, Peterson's promotional company, Golden Boy Promotions, won a purse bid to promote Peterson's title defense against the mandatory challenger, undefeated Dierry "Dougy Style" Jean of Montreal, Canada.
Golden Boy paid $156,000 for the rights to promote the bout and has 90 days to put on the fight. The only other bid was for $111, 121 dollars. No word yet on where the bout will be held.
Peterson (31-2-1, 16 KO's) will try to bounce back from his third-round TKO loss to Lucas Matthysse on May 18 in Atlantic City, NJ. Jean, a native of Haiti (25-0, 17 KO's), earned the title shot with a fourth-round TKO over Cleotis Pendarvis on May 10 in Miami, OK.

Not sure. I don't think so but I am not completely sure.
I went down to head bangers and watched Lamont train some. It was a nice day and they left the front door open, next thing ya know a mosquito flew in and landed on his chin. He got all glassy eyed and needed a standing 8 . He was unfit to continue. Mosquito by tko.
Its alot of julous mofos out here!!! Lls!!
It Lamont goes down in this fight, I bet Barry won't leave his corner like he did Parker
I think Barry is opening a new gym in DuPont called "the man hole". He was top trainer at head bangers now he is a total bottom.
