Parker Wins Controversial Split Decision Over Martin!

Joshua Parker has won a four-round split decision over Darrell Martin.  Parker got the nod despite getting knocked down in the second round.

Even with the knockdown, Parker still scored a shutout on one scorecard, 40-37.  Another card saw the bout for Parker, 38-37. Martin won one card, 39-37.

Parker remains undefeated at 4-0, three KO's while Martin is now 4-16, one KO.

We just finished a Master's amateur bout.  Coming up next, the pro debut of Landover, MD's Larry Recio as he faces Louis Feel of Las Vegas.

Derwin Neal and Jerrell Lucas. Neal won the bout.

I thought the bout was close. In fact, Martin felt he won and I thought the decision could have definitely gone his way.
