A busy fall Beltway Boxing season is even busier with the formal announcement that the World Golden Gloves amateur tournament is coming to the Waldorf Jaycees Community Center in Waldorf, MD on Friday and Saturday, October 25-26. Bobby Magruder Productions is hosting the card.
There are boxers scheduled to participate from the United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Ireland among other countries. There will be 20 slated bouts on Friday night, October 25 beginning at 6 PM. Tickets for that night will be $25 in advance for General Admission, $35 for Reserved and $45 for Ringside. Tickets will be five dollars more in each section at the door.
Championship night will be on Saturday, October 26 at 8 PM with 10 title bouts. Tickets on Saturday will be $30 for General Admission, $40 for Reserved and $50 for ringside.
There is a special two-night fight package that offers tickets to both night's action for $50 General Admission, $60 Reserved and $80 ringside. Those packages must be purchased in advance. Call 301-843-6165 for more information.
