Suitland, MD cruiserweight Venroy "Hardwork" July won a seventh-round technical decision over Joell Godfrey of East St. Louis, IL in the main event of Saturday's card at the Patapsco Arena in Baltimore.
Godfrey hit July numerous times with low blows causing the bout to be momentarily halted. The bout ended in the seventh round with both boxers clashing heads and causing cuts on both men.
The bout went to the scorecards and July won by scores of 57-56 and 59-54 twice. July is now 15-1-2, six KO's while Godfrey falls to 16-10-1, six KO's.

good crowd, reyes got the loudest cheers. fights were not very good imo but if you bought a ticket you probably knew what you were paying for so you cant complain. not a bad venue for boxing. run down area but very close to 95 and 295 with plenty of parking. although it should be called patapsco bingo hall instead of patapsco arena because that is really what it is. waitresses come out to the tables for drink service which is nice too.
Great wrap up show, a lot of awesome action coming up. I love it, great four all our pugs and fans.
