DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley lost his bout in Terkidag, Turkey tonight when he chose to stay in his corner after the fourth round against Selcuk Aydin.
According to reports, Corley got off to a good start in the contest, however, by the third round, Aydin seemed to take the bout over. After the fourth round, Corley did not come off of his stool. After the contest, the former WBO Junior Welterweight champion told reporters that he -- not his corner -- decided not to continue boxing.
Corley did not give any mention of any injury suffered in the contest.
Corley's record drops to 39-21-1, 23 KO's. Aydin is now 26-2, 19 KO's and is the holder of the WBC Mediterranean Junior Welterweight title.
