Who ever wrote this comment is right some of the fights I see on espn I think the kid would destroy a lot of them so lets get him a big fight I no he can hold his own.
James Stevenson should fight Dusty Harrison next. They are the two best welterweights in the DMV, both rising undefeated prospects who have dominated lower level opponents. It would be DC vs. Baltimore
What happened to Jerry Forrest tonight in Indio, CA tonight is exactly the reason why a bout like Stevenson vs. Harrison should not happen without something on the line. Forrest was 7-0 fighting an 8-0 guy in his home state. Forrest gets knocked out in two and gets set back. Washington moves up and fortunately for him the win was convincing, otherwise there would be little gain for him either.
Hey Gary, tonight Eddie Gomez stepped up after 14 fights and beat steve chambers by ko. Dusty hasnt stepped up and he has 16 fights, James has 19 and he hasnt stepped up. If they step up and win, it proves they are legit like gomez did tonight, if they lose, it proves there record is phony. Dusty has only fought in one 8 rounder in 16 fights. Gomez has now fought in 5 after 15 fights. It just shows Beltway managers are afraid of there fighter losing.

What would be gained by a bout like that? Someone gets set back and no title is gained. I'd rather see them battle when something is on the line.

Ya I get your point about them fighting for nothing. I guess I just want them both to step up and then fight each other with a title on the line
