Harrison needs to fight an 8 rounder against a better opponent next like Shamone Alvarez, Lanard Lane, or Michael Anderson if he wants to get better. Fighting a guy like Valdes who has a nice record, but has been koed early his last 3 fights, hadn't fought in over two years, and is 40 years old wont make Dusty better, just boost his ego. Dusty is too good to be in a ring with Valdes. After 17 fights now, he should now be fighting 8 rounders. Ik he fought one, but his last two were 6 rounders.

Time to step Dusty and to get rid of pops as your trainer. He took you as far as he could in the game and like Roy Jones, JR did years before he got rid of pops and went on to greatness!

I don't think you can have a better example than Digitals.

There is no need for Dusty to get rid of Buddy as his trainer. They are doing just fine. Buddy knows his craft and he knows Dusty, there is NO need in breaking that up.

In regards to who he is fighitng, what is the rush? He is fighting who he should be fighting at this point. Dusty keep mowing them down.

just keep doing what you doing.

I agree with Brian. I just wish he would fight in Maryland.

I agree with Brian that Dusty should keep his father as his trainer, but I don't agree with him saying he fighting who he is supposed to at this point. At this point he has proven he can easily handle older vets with solid records but are on decline with long losing streaks in soto, ankrah, and valdes. It his now time to move to next stage of development and fight a guy who is younger then 30 and has been there before in an 8 rounder. Example: Eddie Gomez who is 20 years old, only a year older then Dusty, and is 15-0, two less fights then Dusty. He just fought Steve Upsher Chambers who is 28 and 24-3 and beat him easy and is now considered a top 50 fighter at 154. Dusty is too good to continue fighting guys like Valdes. He needs a fight where the opponent will give him a little challenge and might steal a couple rounds. Not saying he should be thrown to the wolves and needs to fight a top 20 guy, but better competition then his last three opponents if he wants to become better.

Eddie Gomes is a full two years older that Dusty Harrison. I know them both well and it's obvious that Harrison is moving much faster than Eddie. Ediie is also a 154 pounder. Are you an enemy of Harrison's? You do not sound like a friend. Why are you so involved with his camp? Are from he (New York) or from Washington DC.?

Hey Sal, that's Seamus McNally and he means no harm. Pay him no mind, I will explain later. We have been dealing with him for years. That's Jim's son. (Long Story) I'll call you Monday.

Hey Phil,

Jim McNally here. How would you know if my son Seamus made a post or not if he made a post anonymous? Who are you? As for the post that Sal asked if the person was an enemy of Dusty, how did you get that thought from that post? The person asked legit questions based on Dusty's career including amateurs. As for my son, he's only 16 and is very knowledgable about sports and follows boxing.

This is Seamus. I appreciate you defending me Phil, but who are you, how do you know who I am and how did you know it was me who made that post? Also, what did you mean by saying we have been dealing with him for years? As for Sal, I am not involved in Dusty's camp in any way, I am just a fan who wants him to succeed and step up, giving his dominance so far and his vast experience and success as an amateur. I would love to hear this phone call that Phil is making to Sal about me.

Seamus is very smart when it comes to boxing. The RP-xray clearly states where comments are coming from. It is Seamus making such, but he never said anything that harmful. Anyone can buy equipment from any Apple store. $74.99 and on line for a few dollars more.
