Undefeated Burke, VA middleweight Antoine "Action" Douglas has been added to the Friday, August 23 card at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY. Douglas (8-0, six KO's) will battle Edgar Perez of Chicago, IL (5-5, three KO's) in a six-round contest.
Douglas is coming off a third-round stoppage over Ibrahiem King on June 14 in South Orange, NJ. Perez has lost five in a row after winning five of his first six in his native Puerto Rico.
The card is the maiden promotional vehicle for International Boxing Hall of Famer and former undisputed heavyweight champion "Iron" Mike Tyson and will be televised by ESPN2's Friday Night Fights. Douglas has made a number of recent appearances in swing bouts on the channel.
