Jeter-LeBlanc Is No-Contest After First Round!

Midway through the first round, Tony Jeter hit Jimmy LeBlanc with what initially looked like a punch in the back of the head.  LeBlanc went down but referee Joe Cooper ruled it a slip.  No points were deducted but LeBlanc couldn't continue.  The bout was ruled a no-contest.
The shot, though unintentional, was a very hard shot.

Update: From another angle, the punch looked like a shot to the side of LeBlanc's head.  Given this type of situation, an appeal could be forthcoming.

The main event is next -- Lisa Garland vs. Kerri Hill -- 12 three-minute rounds.

OMG With all due respect, these paying fans need to get a refund. I have never heard of a worse boxing event in all my life.

I agree that it was a terrible card. Very poor show that the public had to pay to see. Jeter clearly hit me with an illegal blow to the back of the head. definately not pre planned because nobody in thier right mind would plan to get hit like that. dont know why jeter did that, I know he had 4 points taken away in his previous fight. maybe thats just how he fights. he hit me with a hard shot to the back of the head & I couldnt continue. too bad because that could have been a great fight.

LeBlanc you should win an Oscar for that performance. Who quits because they get hit in the back of the head? LeBlanc if anything was turning his head while Jeter was punching.

I have seen the video & it is very clear that I was not turning my head when I got hit. only a fool would continue after taking a shot like that to the back of the head. you obviously have never climbed through those ropes yourself! I know people wanted to see more but there is a reason a punch to the back of the head is illegal!

Leblanc
you were OK for one or two fights
pulling your fouled or fake injury
act but you continue to do it over and over. Jeter is as bad as you for arrangeing it and shouldn't be allowed to continue promoting. He should be allowed to fight more but not to arrange his own fights and should have to face opposition with a pulse. You Mr Leblanc are a discrace and are no better than Perry Ballard.

this is what is been going on in boxing in the dmv area now for about 3 years all of these new promoters and fighters that dont want to take any risk trying to build their records and hope for a title fight. Fighters such as: Jimmy Lange, the other bum as white fighter from va scott what ever is his name all the way to the fighter in elderburg that got exposed Tony jetter is another one real fight fans dont go for this shit. Rule number one if you have a card you have to have some solid matches or you will be out of business before u know it, rule number two get with people that know how to make fights like a matchmaker who doesnt care who win but looking for a solid fight ron katzs, johnny b. and lastly dont build yourself up for these fake ass title.

Say what you want about Jeter, but his shows are matched better than any others... He matches fighters well! Taylor vs Jackson, by far, best dmv fight that has been done by low budget promotions. It's definitely gonna be fight of the year in this area. Why all the hate on white boys? Black fighters build their records on pin cushion bum ass fighters too. Color doesn't matter in boxing, to refer to a fighter by skin color makes you racist... So FUCK YOU BAMA!

Are you sure that the foul was unintentional? I was sitting ringside for the Jimmy Lange fight, and it wasn't five seconds into the first round when Jeter did the same thing, holding with one arm while hitting behind the head with the other. I didn't see the Jeter/LeBlanc fight, but it sure makes you wonder.
