Harrison Wins Unanimous Decision at Foxwoods!

Dusty Hernandez Harrison remained undefeated tonight as he won a six-round unanimous decision over Ben Ankrah of Ghana at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, CT.

No details yet on how the fight played out but Harrison won by a shutout on the cards of judges Glen Feldman and Julie Lederman, 60-54.  Clark Sammartino scored the bout 59-55.

With the win, Harrison raises his record to 16-0, nine KO's.  Ankrah falls to 17-16, eight KO's.

Is he signing with Dibella? why else would he get a fight over there?

Fried paid Dibella for both sides of the fight (purses for both fighters, travel and medicals). The promoter (Dibella) then puts the fighter (Harrison) on his card with no financial obligation. "Free Fights" are necessary when you are a promoter that doesn't put on your own shows enough to keep your fighters busy. If you are going to sign with a promoter that isn't DBE, GB, TR, etc. its good to sign with a guy like Fried who has solid financial backing to keep his fighter busy without doing shows
