Everyone must realize that Dusty is an extremely young fighter. He's not a Floyd Mayweather or Oscar De La Hoya. Both of these fighters for example was fighting the best amateur fighters in the world prior to turning pro. Dusty's amateur fights were not against top notch open competition and that's not to anything away from what Dusty has accomplished thus far. Everyone must understand in boxing you have to have patience in order to enhance your boxing IQ mentally and physically. Is Dusty really learning anything from these fights, we don't know yet, but realistically I give him about a year or two before he really steps up his competition. I just don't think he's ready at this point. However, I do see the potential and his team are doing a great job in directing his career from an economical stand point. Will he rise to the challenge or will he crumble. So far every thing is great for Dusty. So lets continue to support him and most importantly all of the fighters in the DMV because as a fan and former boxer, I respect any fighter that step in that square circle.

the comment above could be one of BATB's most educated comments posted ever on this forum! It's not biased, controversial, negative, positive, racial, etc...it is from an obviously educated person who calls it exactly what it is. Thank you to whoever posted that.

Thank you so much for complimenting my comment regarding Dusty and the support of all DMV fighters. Hopefully, we can develop five or more major world champions at one time again in addition to all the top contenders and fighters. Sincerely LB

dusty is doing better than most think. he knows where he stands and he is making money like never before. listening to him, he seems to be very humble. his concern seems to be learn on the job, stay employed, make as much as money as possible. an 18 year old at 15-0 is pretty damn good. of course i give credit to his team, but the truth is, they at least have something to work with. i am sure they are fighters with 50/50 records out there who are much better than dusty, but they obviously messed up somewhere down the road. how can we be mad at the kid for or his team for being smart? i read and i see how many people would be out of a job if this kid gets hurt or loses too many fights. again, they are being wise. hopefully, he continues to get better and someday everyone will then understand.
