Former three-time WBA middleweight champion and Beltway Boxing legend William Joppy is hosting the first annual "Hope for the Homeless 5K Fun Run on Sunday, March 17 at Burke Lake Park in Fairfax, VA beginning at 8 AM. Joppy is the founder of the organization Breakfast With Boxers, which continues to battle the homelessness problem in our communities.
All proceeds for this event will go to providing food, boxing demonstrations and encouragement to DC-area homeless residents. Registration for the event is $30 and you can register online by going to this link:
