Waldorf, MD's Jordan White has moved into the finals of the USA Junior World Team Open at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV.
White won a 21-13 decision over Slade Corvin of Chattanooga, TN in the 101-pound semifinals. White will face Szel Martinez of Ontario, OR in the finals tonight. The winner of the championship bout will travel to the AIBA Junior Men's World championships in Kiev, Ukraine in August.

Big ups to Jordan White for winning the championship and earning a spot on Junior World Team. Way to represent! SHORT DOGG BABY!!!
Technically, he hasn't won yet. He is in the finals! We are definitely hoping White wins it!
One reporter covering the event told me that he thought White was one of the two best boxers of the whole tournament!
White won 17-9 in the finals.
