  1. Kennedy was a game opponent, a few of those wide looping power shots landed right on the button. Fox displayed nice skills, but more importantly he showed a strong will and a sturdy chin. Kennedy's eye was in bad shape but the small ring probably worked to his favor and began connecting with more frequency in the final round. To his credit Fox took the shots well and never showed any signs of being hurt, although it may have gotten more interesting if it were an 8-round fight. Quality main event.

  2. Fox was robbed of two knock downs. One body shot made Julius hand touch the ground to stay up and another punch did the same. If the glove touches its a knock down. One judge gave the knock down. Brent has to step up to pro reffing. Never seen Brent ref pro. First time on a main event?

  3. One knockdown was a push... the other, Fox stepped on Kennedy's foot. The ref got it right. Good bout, another couple of rounds would have been really exciting. Fox did well in his first real test. Definitely a couple things that I hope he took from this fight to improve on!

  4. Brent was solid for his first time in the pro ranks. But they only had 2 refs working last night? If they only have 2 refs available in Maryland, the commission needs to re-license Malik Waleed. Malik is the best ref in this area hands down and got a bad break in Maryland. Its time to move on. FREE MALIK!

  5. Technically, this was Brent's second time in the pros but Fox-Kennedy was his first main event.
