District Heights, MD junior lightweight Renaldo "Misunderstood" Gaines wins a four-round unanimous decision over Alan Beeman of Providence, RI. Despite the judges scorecards scoring the bout a shutout, 40-35, it was a great bout as both men showed great punching power and solid chins as they hit each other with crunching shots. This was a tremendous contest; one of the best of the year.
Gaines gets a nice bounce-back win and is now 3-1. Beeman is now 0-5.
