There are a number of amateur cards that will feature Beltway Boxers in November.
We start with a two-day event that will take place on Friday and Saturday, November 9 and 10 at the Sugar Ray Leonard Boxing Center in Palmer Park, MD. This is not a tournament -- this is a two-day event of boxing promoted by Julius "Juice" Gatling. If you would like to have a boxer on this show, call 240-353-0564.
On Saturday, November 10, there will a special charity amateur card at DuBurns Arena in Baltimore, MD that will also feature a canned food drive. If you bring in a canned food item, you can attend the event for free. Otherwise, tickets are $10, $20 and $30.
Then on Saturday, November 17, a number of Maryland-based amateurs will travel to Treasures in Philadelphia, PA to face a group of boxers from Philadelphia. BATB doesn't have the entire list of locals, but has been told by the promoters that former National Golden Gloves champion Michael Reed of Waldorf, MD will be on this card. Treasures is located at 5547 Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia. The card will begin at 1 PM.
