Hurd Scores First-Round KO!

Jarrett Hurd wasted no time in stopping Mike Arnold, dropping him twice en route to a first-round stoppage at 1:30.  The last knockdown looked like it came slightly after Arnold tried to take a knee.  It wouldn't have changed anything, but it's the principal of the thing.  Arnold's now 0-9.

Up next, heavyweight Danny Kelly against Ryan Shay.

Jarrett looked very sharp in his pro debut. He will be very hard to beat at 154lbs, which is where I heard he will eventually be fighting at. His height and reach gives him an advantage over jr middleweights that I have seen. I look forward to watching this quite young fighter slowly go up the ranks. I hope they take their time and develop him right. Thus far he looked very good.
