Stevenson to Face Andrews September 22 in Millersville!

Another bout has been added to the Jeter Promotions card on Saturday, September 22 at Club One Fitness in Millersville, MD and it could be a very interesting contest as it matches a boxer who has been inactive for more than a year versus one who has been very active and, despite some close losses, has fought very well in 2012.

Undefeated Baltimore, MD welterweight James "Keep 'Em Sleepin'" Stevenson will take on Richie "The Rock" Andrews of Stuarts Draft, VA  in a six-round contest that will be for the vacant USBU (United States Boxing Union) welterweight title.

Stevenson (15-0, 10 KO's) has not fought since winning back-to-back six-round unanimous decisions over Jose Angel Roman in April and August of 2011.  Andrews (4-2-3, one KO) is coming off a four-round split decision over Harold Parker on August 25 in DC.

What happened to George Armenta's bout? Wasn't he scheduled to fight?

Lets see now!
First you get one of those mail order belts from the ringside magazine then get two willing bodies together and there you have it.
A title fight.
Sure isn't the way it use to be.
