International Boxing Hall of Famer Mark "Too Sharp" Johnson will throw out the first pitch at Prince George's Stadium in Bowie, MD on Saturday, July 7 when the Bowie Baysox host the Akron Aeros. Johnson will throw out the first pitch around 6:05 PM.
By the way, the event is sort of a homecoming for Johnson who fought at Prince George's Stadium on July 17, 2004. Johnson won a 10-round unanimous decision over Paulino Villalobos in a co-feature bout to Laila Ali's fourth-round knockout of Nikki Epilion.
