Fightnews.com is reporting that the WBA Heavyweight title bout between champion Alexander Povetkin and former champ Hasim Rahman will take place in London, England on Saturday, July 14 as the co-feature to the grudge match between heavyweights David Haye and Dereck Chisora.
Originally, the British Boxing Board of Control (BBoC) had nixed the Haye-Chisora bout and plans were made to move the bout to Germany but it looks like the Luxembourg Boxing Federation will sanction the Haye-Chisora bout in London as both men recently received licenses from that country.
Meanwhile, it looks like both bouts will be televised on the EPIX cable network -- which means Beltway heavyweights will make back-to-back appearances on that channel. EPIX will also show the championship rematch between Wladimir Klitschko and Tony Thompson on Saturday, July 7 from Berne, Switzerland.
