Harrison-Mullings Round 1 -- and its Over!
"The Beltway Boricua" Dusty Harrison makes short work of Booker Mullings knocking him out with a strong left hand in 2:08 of the first round. Mullings fell earlier in the bout but referee Malik Waleed called it a slip. A few seconds later, Harrison made no doubt. Harrison is now 4-0, two KO's. Intermission then the main event -- Ty Barnett vs. Damon Antoine.

He did what he was supposed to do. Harrison didn't waste any time. If the bout had gone any further, some would have been concerned.

Much too early to tell if Harrison will be great or not. However, I do know that the path to greatness starts off slow. To push this 17 year old kid any faster would be considered bad management. So far, he or someone is doing something correct. From the looks of the crowd, it was quite obvious who they were there to see. I would not be surprised if on May 12th. He again fights an easy one. Only a fool would take a chance on an upset when you are making large amounts of money all across the board. Hopefully, this young man or people behind him does not allow the negative/jealous/hatin comments to influence his choice of boxers to fight. I would suggest that this young 17 year old boy/man play it safe until the age of 21. Why ruin a decent pay so early. You have captured the fans like no other and it's obviously going to grow with each and every fight. I myself was one of those many getting a picture and autograph with this kid name Dusty. I have also learned the hard way, that when this kid fights, you better get your ticket early. I seen hundreds in the lobby willing to pay extra just to see the so called Dusty-fight. I would suggest that the venue move to a bigger section. Not sure of the exact amount last night, 3,500 or so, but I do know that hundreds of more were willing to pay the $35.00 fee to stand if needed.
