  1. Why is the first fight so early? Almost 5 hours before the HBO telecast starts.

  3. There are 7 non televised fights and 2 televised fights. I doesn't take 5 hours to have 7 fights, especially when 4 of them are 4 rounders. There's gonna alot of extra time, even more so if there is knockouts

  5. This is a boxing outing and if you don't like the logistics involved then you don't have to go or even watch it on TV.
As Don King would say,(Welcome to America)

  6. What do you know about boxing? The Cotto-Margarito fight had 9 fights and started at 7. This card has 9 fights (3 of which STILL don't have opponents) and starts at 5. Tell me how that makes sense. I know how these DC promotions work, there is gonna be a lot of standing around. Thats why DC doesn't get big fights.

  8. The Beltway Brawl in 1994 started at 4:30. They had 12 bouts and didn't end until 1 am. Most Don King cards were like that. This really isn't that early.

Yes there will be some down time, but this isn't that early.

  9. Bro that was like, what...almost 20 years ago. In 20 years, the drastic improvements in technology and human intellect is supposed to speed things up. You mean that the DC area is still operating the same way they did 20 years ago...wow! No wonder.

  11. You will have an intermission early on long before they go live possibly.

Let us remember this isn't a boxing show it is an event, plenty of time to network and politick,

it is an event, that is the first
in awhile of many...Let us put on a good show and represent the Beltway scene.

Events like this bolster our bottom line, business is up, Golden Boy spending Golden money while they are in the region.
