Travis Coley Wins Championship in Police and Fire Games!

Belated congratulations to local officer Travis Coley who recently won the 178 pound championship at the World Police and Fire Games held recently in New York City.

Coley trained at Old School Boxing in Fort Washington, MD and he was trained by legendary Beltway trainer Al Scott and seconded by Richard Jordan Bey (who, in the interest of full disclosure, is a cousin of mine).

Here is a video of the bout:

Coley, does something much more than win boxing tournaments. He is a police officer at 7th. District and uses his spare time to help kids in the gym every chance he gets.
