Baltimore Amateur Boxer Killed After Argument!

Very sad news coming out of Baltimore. 17-year-old amateur Ronald "Rock" Gibbs was killed this past weekend after an argument. Gibbs, who trained at the Upton gym, was stabbed along with his sister during the argument. No word yet on why the argument took place, but published reports say Gibbs was defending his sister and trying to stop the argument. According to WBFF-Channel 45, no suspects have been found.

Gibbs was a senior at Carver Vo-Tech who was on pace to graduate this year and was considered a mentor at school and in the gym. Gibbs was ranked fourth in the nation in the PAL Rankings at 141 pounds and advanced to the quarterfinals last year. BATB sends our deepest condolences to the Gibbs family.
