The easy opponents are going to catch up with Ms. Gary Russell Jr. Missy is going to get buzz-sawed by decent competition.
Hey gary do u have a list of our beltway amatures who will be competing in the national pal next week? This is an olympic trial qaulifyer for our seniors this yr right?
here is a guy who alreadyknows how to fight, building his record with little risk is the way to go.good job team russell, thats why those who want to critize have never managed anything and should learn the game before hating the player....
Have not received the list of PAL reps. I will check into that. Thanks!
Gary what is your real oponion on the opposition that these three have fought?
Not knowing the competition that the opponents fought, all three of them had winning records so they beat somebody. On the surface, I don't have any problem with it. Wade, Russell and Guerrero are building their records. This seems like the right competition to me.
We can't have it both ways. People complain when Jimmy Lange fights a guy under .500, but now people are complaining that guys are fighting boxers who have winning records? What more do you want -- to see our guys fight undefeated competition all the time? That would be ridiculous!
Man, this is one of the most hating on ur own people area's in the world. What do u want for them to start off going for the championship right away, what boxer do u know start's thier career off against people in the top 10. These guy's don't choose who they fight. Both of thier opponents had winning record's. That's like that guy that respond's on here everytime Fernando fight's when r u going to fight this champion or that champion. How stupid do u sound, did sugar Ray start off going againstthe champion. The only fighter that fought for the championship within thier first 15 fights was Leon Spinks. Please let's just support our fighter's, and hope they have a good career
On October 8th, former U.S. Olympian and undefeated jr. welterweight Rock Allen (15-0, 7 KOs) will be making his long awaited return to the ring when he competes in a six round co-feature on a big night of boxing that will take place at The Arena (Formally The New Alhambra) in South Philadelphia. Allen’s opponent will be named shortly. In the main event, undefeated jr. welterweight prospect Danny “Swift” Garcia (18-0, 12 KOs) will take on former world title challenger, “Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis (22-6-2, 10 KO’s).
jr. welterweight, last time I saw Rock Allen, he looked like he ate a jr. welterweight.
I don't complain when Lange fights somebody under 500 I complain when I see the guy he's fighting going down before he even gets hit.One fact that everyone overlooks is building a record is one thing but Lange has
abused that luxury and then he walks into a resteraunt or club or an arena like he is a world contender when everytime he really steps up he gets his ass kicked.Enough is enough. Why did you bring his name up anyway doesn't he get enough free publicity.
As for the three guys building there records it appears that they are fighting somebody with a heartbeat anyway. One thing for sure Russell can fight and doesn't need bums or alot lesser
fighters I'm not sure about the other two because I've not seen them fight.

Why would some one write on this blog hateful comments like the last writer. If u went to school with Russell u must be from this area, why can't u support this young man instead of spewing hate, why not wish him well and hope that a washington area athlete achieves. Please people stop being a bunch of CRABS lets support our athlete's
Lil Gary is far from a coward and as far as I am concerned you may have smacked him then, you sure wont do it today trust...Like the person before me said you guys get on here and hete to the point its beyond sad man forreal. I GUESS if your doing bad isnt enough but to be successful smh....oh and as for being a coward your one too because a real man wouldnt talk trash like that without posting his real name.I hope some day we can all come together and simply show positive support.
William Joppy lost by decision to Chris Byrd at the 1992 U.S. Olympic Trials at 165 pounds and he also fought, and defeated, Antwon Echols in the amateurs. At the 1992 Eastern U.S. Olympic Trials William scored a quarterfinal round decision over future cruiserweight contender Ravea Springs on his way to the gold medal at that tournament.
Your being sarcastic
Talked to one of Hensley's guys tonight and he claims Joe is behind the negative things said about Gary and others on this site.
Mccombs,
Call me I why to sign you to a contract being the world beater you are in the ring. What is your record now, 2-40, 0kos?
Chris Middendorfous
The amount of back-biting on this site is ludicrous. Beltway boxing is helpless.
