Here is a recap of the results from the "No Excuses" card at the George Mason University Patriot Center:

Jimmy Lange stops Jimmy LeBlanc at 1:31 of the second round. Lange is 32-4-2, 23 KO's while LeBlanc is 12-17-4, four KO's.

DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley wins by fourth-round TKO over Damian Fuller. Time of the stoppage: 2:49 of the round. Corley is 37-13-1, 22 KO's. Fuller falls to 30-8-1, 14 KO's.

The Tony "Mo Better" Jeter-Lawrence "Bad to the Bone" Jones bout was stopped late in the first after a vicious clash of heads. Jeter was cut along the right eye and the blood could not be stopped. Jeter is now 9-2-1, eight KO's. Jones is 3-2-2, one KO.

The bout between Juan "The Savior" Rodriguez and Dontre "Pound For Pound" King ended in a six-round majority draw. Two judges saw the bout 57-57 while one judge scored it 59-55 for King. BATB saw the bout the same way for King, who is now 2-7-2, one KO. Rodriguez goes the distance for the first time in his young pro career and is now 4-0-1, four KO's.

Todd "White Lightning" Wilson scored a first-round knockout over Calvin "Pekoe" Faggins at 1:07. Wilson is 8-0, two KO's. Faggins is 3-5-1, one KO.

Digital, how did you score the first three fights?

Anyway, my thoughts:
-I had either Quarles either winning close or a draw, so no problems.
-I don't mind Shah winning, but he did NOT win all 4 rounds. Of the dozen or so cards I've been to, Terry has possibly THE most unique style I've seen. Easy to see how he could lose so many, but also easy to see how he could steal a few.
-Salinas-Forget was good.
-Nice work Todd. I was talking to him after the fight, and he said he felt it as soon as he connected.
-I thought Juan actually won (though you scored each round; mine was just based on instinct), but whatever.
-Shame about Jeter-Jones. As for the fans booing, they didn't hear the headbutt I'm guessing/
-Nice work Chop-Chop.
-Nice work Lange.

Other than the unfortunate Jones-Jeter incident, the night went as expected..

I had king winning all but 1 round. I think Terry landed a few good shots but I dont' see any whole round I could give him. He looked like he just wanted to try to survive and pray for a big haymaker to land.

Very unfortunate about Jeter.
I don't think he had enough time to establish his rythm and I feel it was going to be a very good fight as it went on.Jones was moving well and not being a target
but I wonder what was going to happen when Tony started finding his target.
Quarles fought a very determined
opponet in Vincent Batteast and you didn't want to see a loser in that one.
Shah can win but when his level of competetion picks up he will have to learn to keep his hands up
and quit getting sucker punched.
He took an easy fight and made it very diffacult.
The Wilson VS Faggin fight was a little disapointing.Wilson is no big puncher but guess he just got lucky.
The girls put on a nice show and some of the guys in this area could take a few lessons from the two Ladies.
The Dontre King Juan Rodriguez bout was entertaining but two of the judges were way off the mark.
Rodriguez was being pushed by the media and his people as the one to watch.I think you need to wait a few more years to be watching this kid because he was taken to school by a fighter that had only won two fights.Although Juan is strong and works in the gym with some good fighters he doesn't have the speed or skill to call him anything but an average fighter.
Chop Chop Corley is very good at lulling you into his rythm and then surprising you with a big punch and that is what he did to
fuller last night.I believe that
Corley has a few more in him and
that as long as he has confidence in himself he just might win another title.
Lange did what he was supposed to do but it seems like it is taking him too long to get started
and that he is taking to much punishment in the meen time.
It was nice to see Lange get back on the winning track as this area needs the shows at the Patriot center.
