HAS DAVE HOLLAND HIRED A LAWYER YET? IT BETTER BE JOHNNY COCHRAN BECAUSE HE WILL NEED A GLOVE THAT DOESNT FIT TO GET HIM OUT OF THE MESS HE HAS CREATED!
ReplyDeleteMo Better Jeter comin a lean and mean 154, now he is gonna make a serious run! LOL, what a pantywaste!
ReplyDeleteLet's have some fun and put our money (or at least our names) where our mouths are.
ReplyDeleteMy picks are below with two upsets, Fuller over Corley and Jones over Jeter.
I'm curious to see what others think. Copy and paste, and add your own picks:
Jimmy Lange vs. Jimmy LeBlanc (Lange)

Juan Rodriguez vs. Dontre King (Rodriguez)
Jennifer Salinas vs. Nathalie Forget (Salinas)
Brandon Quarles vs. Vincent Batteast (Quarles)

hey will we be able to get tickets at the door?
ReplyDeleteWhat time does the card start? Do they reall start on time or like DC fights never on time?
ReplyDeleteI think the most interesting fight is jones vs. jeter. Jones' record can fool you. I look for that to be the fight of the night. Both our my friends and I pray they both do great and stay safe.
ReplyDeleteThe card is slated to begin at 7:30. They usually don't start on time, but they are in the ballpark. Yes, tickets are available at the door
ReplyDeleteJimmy Lange vs. Jimmy LeBlanc - They are basically the same fighter skill wise and style wise. The major differences between the two Jimmys are Lange's conditioning and the excellent matchmaking and career guidance that Jimmy's father has provided his career. This fight will be exciting and close in the first 5 rounds. After that, I expect Lange to open up a lead on the scorecards and win big down the stretch. Call it 98-92 or 97-93 for Lange. You can never question Lange's stamina and I can assure you that he has trained as hard for Jimmy LeBlanc as he would if he were getting a title shot. Not the most skilled guy but still a consummate pro fighter in many ways.
ReplyDeleteDeMarcus Corley vs. Damian Fuller Corley was once world class and Fuller, even though a very good fighter in his own right, has never really gotten to that level. Chop Chop by unanimous decision.
Tony Jeter vs. Lawrence Jones
Lawrence Jones can punch a little and I'm surprised Jeter took this fight. If Jeter wins, it would definitely be a quality win and one that would get him some much needed respect considering the pitiful level of his competition. When I've seen Tony fight he just walks in the front door and throws right hands hoping to catch the other guy. I think Jones will win by 2nd or 3rd round KO.
Juan Rodriguez vs. Dontre King
King is a dangerous fighter despite his record but when I've seen Rodriquez fight I have been impressed by his power. I think Rodriquez will get the win by stoppage.
Brandon Quarles vs. Vincent Batteast
Quarles was a really good amateur. I think he will stop Batteast.
Todd Wilson vs. Calvin Faggins Wilson is very underrated. Wilson gets the stoppage in this one.
Zain Shah vs. Antonio Walls
Shah can punch. Shah via stoppage.
Say hello to my fan club up there! So many of my good friends in one place!
Good luck to everyone! I will be at George Rivera's wedding tomorrow!
Where are the Todd Wlson picks. Win or lose, the kid is gonna come with it. Very exciting guy to watch.
ReplyDeleteI agree with most of the picks..except I got Jones and Forget winning.

ReplyDeleteSeems like you are trying to patch things up.Thats a good thing
but I have found that people in boxing are like elephants.
No not that they don't forget,it's just that they stink and alot of piss has passed under the bridge.
Forest Gump
Why exactly did Dave Holland get mentioned?? lol
ReplyDeleteHope the fighters all have great nights (although in each fight, one boxer will have a greater night than the other because there can only be one victor), and the crowd doesn't get out of hand.
My problem is though it seems as if these cards do little other than give these fighters experience.. No careers are being "advanced" in any way shape or form.
Good look regardless.
Meant to say GOOD LUCK and not GOOD LOOK
ReplyDeletewho is the match maker for the fight?
ReplyDeleteI believe it's JD Brown.
ReplyDeleteWow, three out of four have picked a Jeter upset. Did nobody see he last Patriot Center performance?
ReplyDeleteActually, that's not surprising. Jones should test Jeter more than Gross did. But if Jeter lands, it will probably be over. It should be a good one!
ReplyDeleteIf Jeter knocks Jones out that would be a surprise to me. Jones is going to stop Jeter because Jeter has no heart.
ReplyDeleteGo Shot Shot Corley! I know you can show him your panties and he will fall over in laughter.
