Just receiving the official details on this one, but indeed, DC junior welterweight Ty Barnett scored an eight-round unanimous decision over Tyrese Hendrix of Atlanta, GA this past Saturday in Tunica, MS. But the win will put Barnett on the sidelines for a little while as he did indeed suffer a broken hand during the bout.
The judges scorecards saw the bout 80-72 and 79-73 (twice). Barnett is now 18-1-1, 12 KO's while Hendrix falls to 18-2-1, seven KO's.
