'Pit Bull' Coleman A Promotional Free Agent!

USBA light welterweight champion Tim Coleman (17-1-1, 4 KOs) of Baltimore, Maryland is free of his contract with promoter Star Boxing and looking to explore other promotional options.

Coleman upset former world title challenger Mike Arnaoutis in his last fight this past December to win his title. Star Boxing had options on Coleman after he beat their fighter Arnaoutis but both parties were unable to agree to terms on securing a subsequent fight within the next 120 days thus ending their contract. Coleman is current ranked #15 the world by the IBF at 140 pounds.

He's a good fighter. I was more impressed by him when he lost to DeLaRosa than when he beat Arnoutis. I thought Arnoutis won and he's clearly not the same Arnoutis of a few years ago. But he is a good fighter nonetheless. How about Jackie Kallen getting her boy Fuller another fight and making it the co-feature no less. Fuller better be thankful for Jackie and he probably is. But I know Johnnie Lange and this fight is costing him about $10,000 and won't sell one additional ticket. He's not going to be happy about that. Any news on the Lange fight yet?
