Here's what I heard: Jerry's 1st bout was and RSC. His 2nd bout was 3-2 (tied on raw score) and tiebreaker went to his opponent on aggression even though Jerry got two 8 counts. Go figure. He'll be back. Just turned open and did great boxing his way all the way there. I'm rooting for all the guys to come home with medals.

How did Kevin Rivers lose 5-0 and who was the boxer who beat him like that? AD had Kevin boxing differently. These kids are changing gym too much.

Are the Golden Gloves more exciting and more accurate on judging fighters than the Olympics??

I was there and Jerry got a real bad decision. In fact there were several bad decisions in ring 2 that night. The ref in Jerrys fight gave him a warning which means two points go to the other guy for hitting after he said stop but they were in the heat of the battle and both trowing punches and there was no reason for the ref to say stop. Then in the 3rd rd, Jerry gives the guy two 8 counts and he loses a 3-2. One judge had the score tied but gave it to the other boxer for being the effective aggressor. How could the other boxer be the effective aggressor when he is get getting beat all over the ring. Most of the judges in that ring look like they were senior citizens.
As for Kevin Rivers, he also got a bad decision. He fight was closer but it sure looked like he did enough to win.
