Corley Gets New Opponent for May 29 Bout in DC!

The opponent has changed for DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley on the Titanium Promotions card on Saturday, May 29 at the DC Armory. The former WBO Junior Welterweight champion will now face veteran Jermaine "Too Sweet" White of Las Vegas, NV by way of Gary, IN in his bout for the vacant UBO Junior Welterweight title.

White (17-4, nine KO's) replaces Verquan Kimbrough, who is off the card for unspecified reasons. White has fought a number of talented opponents in his career. Three of his four losses have come to Anthony Peterson, Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. and Paul Spadafora.

This man can still fight and as long as he still believes it he is dangerous for anybody to fight .Best of luck to you Chop.

Had Cotto out of there. Terrible, terrible robbery! First guy I ever saw that popped Mayweather with a clean shot and really got his attention. Top flight fighter for a long time.

chop is a good solid pro. he is never considered an easy fight for anyone which makes him always dangerous.

A new promoter, Garcia Staley, Sr. and his group Titanium Promotions is putting this show on.

I think a lot depends on who Keith Holmes opponent will be in his fight whether or not people will attend this card.

looks like a good show but damn, it's a tough business. hopefully they do very well on the show. you go through too much b.s. to lose money or make a small profit.
