Cant believe Farmer got stopped by this guy, doesnt make sense to me. What happened?
I believe that Farmer got slow for one second(prior to the KD he seemed to be in control), and Ikem just landed a heluva shot.. After the knockdown, Farmer seemed to get up quickly and shake it off, out of the sequence of punches that followed from Orji in attempt to finish the fight, maybe one landed.. Although Farmer didn't get hit and was blocking or dodging most of the shots, he didn't throw anything himself, so the ref was just trying to do his job.
Overall, it was a good event, exciting fights, and a good atmosphere. This Sergey Kovalev has caught my attention.
who was the ref? was it Chris Wollenson? For the Farmer fight I mean.
The Ref was billy Johnson and he said he wouldn't have stopped it but the commissioner told him to.
Stopping this fight was a discrace
and the harm it did to the Farmer camp was a shame.I will be surprised if Orji gives Farmer a rematch.They said they would so only time will tell.
