Former MD Commission Member Feaster Passes!

BATB has learned that former Maryland State Athletic Commission member Phillip Feaster passed away on March 7 at the age of 70. Mr. Feaster lived in Fort Washington, MD.

Mr. Feaster was a long-time member of the commission during the late 80's into the 90's and was a well-known and well-respected member of the Maryland commission. A very nice man as well.

Mr. Feaster's Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, March 12 at Mount Enon Baptist Church, located at 9832 Piscataway Road in Clinton, MD. No word on the time of the service.

During his distinguished tenure with the Commission, Commissioner Feaster earned the admiration of Maryland's boxing community at-large for his strong passion for boxing and his sincere commitment to boxers.
