Could one of the most talked-about matchups that never happened in Beltway Boxing history finally take place?
Former WBA Middleweight champion William Joppy tells Boxing Talk.com's Michael Walters that a bout between himself and former WBC Middleweight champ Keith Holmes could happen and that bout is being worked on.
To read the rest of Walter's solid interview with Joppy (that got a little testy at times), click on this link:

Both Joppy and Holmes are older guys but I would give Holmes the advantage.
Yeah it gets testy alright. What does at matter as Joppy says in his own words "you've got three white guys and three black guys" referring to the Super Middleweight tournament. Come on man this is 2009 and Obama is in the White house, put that shit in the past where it damn well belongs!
Keep hope alive!
