It looks like Baltimore welterweight Tim "Pit Bull" Coleman is off the "Latin Invasion" pay-per-view card slated for October 30 in El Paso, TX. No word on why the bout is off.
If Coleman's bout had taken place, it would have meant that two Beltway Boxers would have come to Texas in successive weeks. Gary Russell, Jr. is still slated to appear in Laredo, TX this Friday night.
Meanwhile, it's a possibility that undefeated Baltimore junior middleweight Cecil McCalla (9-0, four KO's) may appear on a card at the Bette Rae Thomas Rec Arena in Charlotte, NC on Saturday, October 24. No word yet on who his opponent will be.
Whe is Coleman off the card?
