Westminster, MD Update!

There is also an update on the Friday, September 25 TNT Promotions card at the Shipley Arena in Westminster, MD.

Laurel, MD junior middleweight Norman "The Shadow" Allen will try to bounce back from a tough loss earlier this month when he takes on undefeated Wilson, North Carolina's Jamar "The Truth" Freeman. Allen (6-3, three KO's) has lost two straight, including a tough four-round majority decision to William Jackson on September 5.

Freeman (4-0-1, one KO) is 3-0 at the Shipley Arena and is coming off a first-round KO over Mike Badgett on July 25 in Hilton Head, SC. Freeman is trained by George Peterson who also trains three-time world champion Paul "The Punisher" Williams, who will be in attendance in Westminster.

Also making his US debut on this card is cruiserweight Zack "Black Warrior" Mwekassa, a native of Kinshasa, The Congo. Mwekassa (8-1, seven KO's) will take on veteran Gary Lavender of Pine Level, NC (7-13, six KO's) in a six-round contest.

  10. hes a bum huh???? three time world champion who floats around from weight class to weight class just to get a fight. Are we talking about the same guy? Paul williams is a versatile fighter who can punch and punch and punch some more or box very well if he needs too. His height, length, experience against the best opposition and ability to get of with an assortment of punches makes him anything but a bum, oh yeah not to mention that everybody ducks him and so he floats from weight class to weight class just to get a fight. Bumb my ass!

  20. Justin,

It appears they are not going to offer you a contract for Sigmon. Please post your email or phone number. I think I have some fights for you buddy. I will give you all the info on the phone. Let's get it on!

  21. Definitely still planning on fighting Ridgway in Novemeber.I just have a life outside of my computer unlike most of you guys. After this fight I do not want to hear anything else about who you think I should fight because I will beat him badly and show you all that this was a waste of my time.Ridgway is just a more extreme version of Fillipone after a few rounds he will look for an excuse out.Make sure all you ignorant people are there. And Gary I want an apology for you saying Ridgway was ready for this fight.I know you did it just so he would not run his mouth but do you really think Aughtrey would have made it 4 with me.Yeah right.I would not even disgrace myself by gettin in the ring with a guy that is 0-5.

  22. Excuse me. I'm not going to apologize for any opinion I have made. At the time of that opinion, I don't think it was a stretch and I stand by that.

Personally, I think this long drawn-out conversation has taken too much away from the bouts that are actually coming up and, quite frankly, more important than this bout we have been talking about. Come November, we can all have more to talk about.

  23. It's easy for boxing spectators to underrate you Cujo. You cant box and you cant punch. You can however outpunch. Not knocking you just illustrating that people who have been around a while tend to appreciate fighters with rhythm, movement, and intelligence. You tend to just pressure and overwhelm, which is working for now, but the point is it's easy for knowledgeable fans to not be impressed. Never seen Ridgeway fight but I think it'll be harder for him to win than he probably thinks. I give him credit if he takes the fight with his limited pro experience.

  24. Guys,

please stop posting about this fantasy fight with the almighty Cujo. I do not care to say anymore about it until we get a contract. Like I told cujo in the ring after his last fight, talk is cheap and it is time for him to put up or shut up. If I get a contract for this fight I will be thoroughly shocked.

To whoever told me to contact them about a fight please call Scott Farmer with any and all proposals. Gary I apologizie to you for Sigmon's ignorance and out right stupidity.

    Cujo,

After I stop you, I want you to publicly apologize in front of everyone for talking so much trash. Why would digital apologize to you? You have a lack of boxing skills, power, and speed. The only thing you have going or you is that you get in shape. I will be in great shape and will pressure you and capitalize on your lack of everything. Like I told you in the ring your pitbull mouth has overloaded your poodle butt.
