Former WBO Junior Welterweight champion DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley has a new opponent for his eight-round co-feature bout on the ICE Promotions card at the George Mason University Patriot Center on Saturday, September 26.
Corley (35-11-1, 21 KO's) will now face Harrison Cuello of the Bronx, NY. Cuello (18-11-3, 14 KO's) scored a fifth-round TKO in Salisbury, MD on February 6 but has gone 0-3-1 since then as he has stepped up in competition. Cuello has lost to Vanas Matirosyan, Ricardo Williams and Ray Robinson and drew with Rashad Holloway. The four opponents Cuello faced had a combined won-loss record of 57-3 when Cuello faced them. Cuello has also faced the likes of former world champion Randall Bailey (who split two bouts with Corley) and Mike Arnaoutis.
Cuello replaces Detroit's Damian Fuller on the card. Fuller suffered a rib injury in training camp.
Good luck chop your on your way back.
