Capitol Heights, MD featherweight Gary Russell, Jr.'s bout on July 31 did not come off. But Russell does have a scheduled four-round contest on Friday, August 7 at Buffalo Bill's Star Arena in Primm, NV. The card is an ESPN2 card, but no official word if Russell's contest will make the telecast.
Russell (3-0, one KO) will take on Jason Jones of Kansas City, MO (2-2, one KO) in the contest.
