A. Peterson Bout Opens 'Pinoy Power' Pay-Per-View Saturday Night!

Undefeated DC lightweight Anthony Peterson's bout against Luis Arceo is slated to be the opening contest on the Pay-Per-View "Pinoy Power" telecast on Saturday, August 15 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Cafe in Las Vegas, NV.

Peterson (28-0, 19 KO's) will take on the San Ysidro, CA-based Arceo (21-8-2, 14 KO's) in a 10-round contest.

where is the title shot for these guys.. its long overdue..fighting nobody's does not prepare u for the next level. nobodys are very risky because u can get away with things that u can't away with at the next level...

That's very true. But I think since Anthony has not fought in more than a year (August 2) because of a knee injury, this is a good opponent to hopefully get him back on track.

No question it is overdue for Anthony. Lamont, however, seems to be in good shape because he is supposed to be Timothy Bradley's next opponent for the WBO Junior Welterweight title.
