F. Guerrero, Wade Travel to Mississippi; White Heads to Delaware!

More Beltway Boxers are hitting the road this month. On Saturday, July 18 undefeated middleweight prospects Fernando Guerrero and Dominic Wade will appear on a card at Fitzgerald's Hotel and Casino in Tunica, MS.

In a six-round contest, Guerrero (14-0, 12 KO's) will face his most experienced foe to date in former world title challenger "Kid Dynamite" Antwun Echols of Davenport, IA (31-11-4, 27 KO's). Guerrero is coming off a solid second-round TKO over Brian Norman on June 19 in Salisbury, MD. Echols has participated in three world title bouts, losing twice against Bernard Hopkins for the IBF Middleweight title and falling to Anthony Mundine for the WBA Super Middleweight title. Recently, Echols has been winless in his last nine bouts.

Wade (3-0, three KO's) will take on veteran William Johnson of Sardis, MS (9-18-1, three KO's) in a four-round encounter. Wade stopped Anthony Cannon in the second round of the Salisbury, MD card. Johnson's last bout was also in Maryland as he was stopped in round two by Joey Gilbert in Glen Burnie on November 20.

Then on Friday, July 24, Smithsburg, MD welterweight Dean "Pitbull" White returns to action in an eight-round bout against Wilmington, DE's Ryan Belasco at Dover Downs Hotel and Casino in Dover, DE.

White (14-10-1, seven KO's) will be looking to break a five-bout losing streak that continued with a six-round split-decision loss to Ron Boyd on February 20 in Westminster, MD. Belasco (11-2-3, three KO's) is coming off a six-round unanimous decision victory over James Ventry on April 24 in Dover. Belasco has a six-bout winning streak.
