F. Guerrero Scores Second-Round TKO; A. Guerrero Wins Majority Decision in Pro Debut; Wade Scores Second Round TKO in Salisbury!

Hometown hero Fernando Guerrero scored a crushing second-round TKO over Brian "The Assassin" Norman of Decatur, GA tonight at the Wicomico Civic Center in Salisbury, MD.

Guerrero dropped Norman twice during the second round. After the second knockdown, referee Kenny Chevalier stopped the bout at 2:35 of the round ruling Norman could not continue. Guerrero is now 14-0, 12 KO's while Norman is 17-9, five KO's.

Guerrero's older brother, cruiserweight Alex Guerrero, made a successful pro debut in front of his hometown crowd, winning a four-round majority decision over Jackson, TN's Rodricka Ray. Ray is now 2-2.

Largo, MD middleweight Dominic Wade scored an easy second-round TKO over Anthony Cannon of Saginaw, MI. Wade dominated Cannon from the opening bell, eventually trapping Cannon in the neutral corner before referee Bill Clancy stopped the bout at 1:46 of the second round. Wade is now 3-0, three KO's while Cannon is 4-13, one KO.

Also on the card, undefeated light heavyweight Farah Ennis of Philadelphia, PA won an eight-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Bobby Jordan, Jr. of Norfolk, VA. This was a very competitive contest that Ennis won by scores of 79-73 (twice) and 79-75. Ennis is now 11-0, five KO's while Jordan is 6-1, two KO's.

Akron, OH middleweight Shawn Porter stopped late sub Brandon Wooten of Kansas City, MO in the first round. Porter overpowered Wooten throughout the contest before the bout was stopped at 2:09 of the first. Porter is now 9-0, seven KO's while Wooten is 6-14-1, two KO's.
