Guerrero Bros. In Action June 19 in Salisbury!

Boxing action returns to the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center in Salisbury, MD on Friday, June 19th and this Prize Fight Promotions card offers two Guerreros for the price of one.

Undefeated middleweight prospect Fernando Guerrero will participate in his first main event bout in his hometown as he will face Brian "The Assassin" Norman of Decatur, GA in a scheduled eight-round contest. Guerrero (13-0, 11 KO's) is coming off an eight-round unanimous decision victory over Gabriel Rosado on the last card in Salisbury on February 6. Norman (17-8, five KO's) scored a first-round knockout over Curtis Hinton in his last outing on March 6 in Columbus, MS.

Guerrero will be the third Beltway Boxer Norman has faced in his last four bouts. Norman was stopped in the ninth round by Henry Buchanan on June 25 in Beverly Hills, CA and lost an eight-round majority decision to Demetrius Davis on May 3, 2008 in District Heights, MD. Norman has lost to Buchanan twice in his career and has also lost to Beltway Boxer Reginald Taylor and defeated Carlos Jones.

The card also marks the pro debut of Guerrero's brother Alex, who will fight as a cruiserweight. Alex Guerrero will enter the pro ranks after a strong performance at the National Golden Gloves in Salt Lake City, UT where he won a bronze medal. No word yet on Alex Guerrero's opponent.

Undefeated Largo, MD middleweight Dominic Wade (2-0, two KO's) will also be on the card participating in a four-round contest against an opponent to be determined.

Unlike the last two cards in Salisbury, this will not be a nationally televised event. However, Prize Fight is making the card available on the internet at www.prizefighttv.com for $9.95. The card will begin at 8 PM ET.
