We are entering a stretch in which there are three pro cards in an eight-day stretch. Here is an update on all three of the cards.
Undefeated Glen Burnie, MD junior middleweight Lenwood "Mr. Composure" Dozier (5-0-1, two KO's) has been added to the Friday, April 24 card at the Shipley Arena in Westminster, MD. Dozier won a four-round unanimous decision over Ken Dunham on the last Westminister card on February 20. No word yet on who Dozier's opponent will be.
The opponent for undefeated Baltimore welterweight James "Keep 'Em Sleepin' Stevenson (7-0, seven KO's) on Thursday, April 30 at Martin's West in Woodlawn, MD has changed. Doel Carrasquillo is out and Parkersburg, WVA's Chad "Taz" Greenleaf is in for the eight-round co-feature. Greenleaf (11-11-1, five KO's) is coming off a six-round TKO victory over Jesse Williams on March 27 in Parkersburg.
And the Saturday, May 2 card at the George Mason University Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA is starting to round out. Undefeated Haymarket, VA welterweight Juan "The Savior" Rodriguez (2-0, two KO's) will take on DC's "The Capitol Punisher" Spencer Harsley (1-10) in a four-round encounter.
In a four-round light heavyweight rematch, Fairfax, VA's Otganbayer Daivii will battle "The African Warrior" Francois Ambang of Richmond, VA. Ambang (2-2) won the first contest by four-round unanimous decision on February 20 in Westminster and since then, looked impressive in a four-round unanimous decision victory over Darryl Johnson on April 11 in Lynchburg, VA. Daivii (2-2-1, one KO) has not fought since the February 20th bout.
A couple of four-round all-DC matchups will also be a part of the undercard. There will be a lightweight tussle between Kendrick "Holy Hands" Walker (1-2, one KO) and Taurean Edwards (0-1) and a heavyweight battle between Delonte Marshall (0-2) and the debuting Andrew Jackson.
The top of the card remains the same with the main event being the 12-round contest for the WBC USNBC Junior Middleweight title between Jimmy Lange and Frank Houghtaling; the eight-round middleweight co-feature between Purcell "Hard Rock" Miller and Thomas Wilt; the four-round female featherweight contest between Jennifer Salinas and Christina Leadbeater and the featherweight rematch between "Tattoo" Tom Mitchell and Yieta Johnson.

Tony Jeter had a big amateur career, he may be too much for Cujo at this point. Nicklow Cujo would be a WAR! Nicklow comes forward, Cujo doesn't take a backwards step, now that would be a hell of a fight! You've got to love Cujo! It takes a lot of guts to call out other fighters from the area and sign your name. Let's see if Nicklow or Jeter respond and take him up on the offer and fight him.

Chris, I wouldn't be so quick to think that Cujo or probably even Justin made the comments. They may have, but I am thinking another big talker who likes to get stuff started without using his name.
Sigmon is bigger than Nicklow & Jeter & even Ridgway. He looks pretty ripped so I doubt he can get down to 160-168 to fight any of these guys...

We're open to a lot of different options right now. Cujo fought a great fight against Toris Brewer. Brewer fought well in his own right and their fight was one of the best fights I have ever seen live! For Scott to make the leap to 8 round territory in only his seventh pro fight is a remarkable thing! Brewer was extremely tough, he is a good fighter, and he could punch and Scott was still too much for him on April 11th. Very impressive performance by Cujo. The video will be up on our website in a few days so that everyone can see the fight for themselves.
Let's use the opportunity that Digital has given us to promote boxing in VA, DC,and Maryland. Maybe fights can be made because of this blog, maybe they can't. But one thing that Digital shouldn't tolerate is any foul language in anyone's posts. Don't be disrespectful to Digital or his site by doing that.
And yes, that is Cujo who is calling out Jeter and Nicklow, and yes this is me writing this post.

Cujo has never been tested. Brewer had one fight in the last two years,(which was a four rounder) so come on how much of a test was that! He has ran his mouth too much, and is now going to have to man up to it. I am willing to fight him in a six or eight round fight. If Scott truely thinks I am nothing then he will gladly accept this to prove to everyone he is as great as he thinks he is, but I know you haven't lost touch with reality and think that "Cujo" is anything more then a little boy with a big mouth. Finally, in his pro debut as Middleweight, from Arlington VA, Justin “Smooth” Ridgway (169 lbs.) went up against Washington DC fighter, Calvin “Shotgun” Aughtry (165 lbs.). Ridgway managed to keep Aughtry at bay with a dozen solid hits to the face and a murderous blow to the ribs. Aughtry stayed clear of Ridgway’s right hand and managed to score a very pronounced blow to the side of Ridgway’s neck. A classic one-two combination by Ridgway brought an end to the one-sided fight. Ridgway came away with an unblemished score of 40-36

Honestly I would love to see this fight! Scott Sigmon is very tough and moves forward a lot. Ridgway is a very hard puncher and has a ton of boxing skills. Cujo could make this very interesting if he use A LOT of head movement and counter punches a lot. He won't be able to charge at Ridgway and throw wild shots. I think this would be a great fight, but styles make fights and when it's all said and done Ridgway by late stoppage.
Who hasn't beat Autry? He's tough, but his camp needs to add some defense to his mix.

Aughtrey normally attempts to move forward and walk into his opponents. He did it against Brewer and Wiggins, but once he got hit by Ridgway he ran.

I don't think so, Chris. Actually, the first Nicklow-Rivera bout was based on comments here, so it's happened before.
As far as this particular conversation is concerned, I think a Sigmon-Ridgeway bout is more likely than Sigmon taking on either Nicklow or Jeter; strictly because of the weight issue.
Right now, there is no need for Sigmon to come down nor for Nicklow or Jeter to go up in weight. Jeter's trying to come down to junior middleweight while Nicklow is still viable at this point at middleweight.
i'll tell you how this thread will end, and that is with Joe and Scott Sigmon looking like the cowards they are. They try to act like they don't see the fact that Justin is calling him out, but all of us fans see who is willing to fight and who is just a mouth. Justin has earned some kudos in my book!

I'm going to withhold a response to that until I see Ridgeway fight. I missed his pro debut so I can't make an honest prediction.
I will say this for Sigmon. He has improved dramatically from his pro debut. He was very impressive in his bout against Brewer in Lynchburg. He's not nearly as wild in the ring as he was in his pro debut.
What about Mark Tucker and Sigmon?
I would lean toward Tucker but I think it would be pretty even. Both have made the same types of strides, but Tucker is still a little more polished and his work in Antonio Tarver's and Glen Dawson's camp has said a lot for him.
That continues to look like a good matchup, but we can say more after Tucker's bout this Friday in Westminister.

We're only talking a small weight difference if Tony or Jesse go up a little bit and Cujo comes down a little bit in weight. Look at what Pacquiao, Mayweather, and Hopkins did. If you've got the goods, it can be done. By the way, that is Cujo's cell number in a previous post. Give him a call, he would be glad to hear from you Jesse and Tony. I'm not ignoring you, but at 1 and 0 and having beaten a guy with ZERO wins, you better bring a LOT to the table for me to even consider promoting a fight between you and Cujo. I have never seen you fight and I have my concerns that with your limited experience and your MMA background if you would even be competitive in an 8 round fight with Cujo. I want to promote a solid professional fight and I don't want to see anyone get seriously hurt. They are good solid professional boxers which is why I would love to make the matchup between one of them and Cujo in a Winner Take All bout (that was his idea, he really wants those guys!) We'll see what happens from here. Whether it's Nicklow, Jeter, Ridgway, or someone else remains to be seen.

I don't have a lot of respect for MMA guys going in to boxing. Maybe you are the one guy that can prove me wrong, we will see. 100 amateur fights is an awful lot for a guy who turned pro at your age. Do you mean fights in the generic sense or are you talking about amateur boxing matches? I'm having a hard time believing you had that many boxing matches and you just turned pro. It doesn't add up. I had over one-hundred boxing matches, and I turned pro in muay thai and mma because to many guys were trying to get into boxing. All in all I have been a pro for over 6 years. Scott Farmer manages and promotes me, and wouldn't let me fight Cujo unless I could actually fight. I have watched his fight with Alex Dill as did my training team. I don't think you even know how old I am do you? Exactly! I just got off the phone with Cujo and he wants to fight me in July he said the ball is in your court.

I talked to Cujo last night, and he asked me "why do you want to fight me so bad?" I happily reminded him not only did he call out guys three weight classes below him. Who are somewhat of friends to me, but he also has been running his mouth about me. He told me "Let's say I were to fight you, it would be at 170lbs with weigh in day of, because you are a lot bigger then me. You walk around at 200lbs I only walk around at 185." Once again I was happy to remind him he called out guys three weight classes below him, and That 175lbs is the max weight at Light Heavy. He said "You know Joe owns me."

I told you I was semi-impressed with your fight. I told you that you have decent hand speed and decent power and you move well for a tall man. You told me you have a fight in Vegas in June and couldn't fight Cujo even if I wanted to make the fight at that time. Rattlesnake Promotions I believe you said you were fighting for. Truthfully, I should have never spoken to you, I should have only spoken to your Promoter Scott Farmer. I certainly don't want to offend anyone's sensibilities and if I have, please accept my apology. But the facts are that you called me and we never spoke about the fight but in anything but very general terms. No purse was discussed, no details, nothing like that was talked about. The only time money was mentioned was on this blog and it was mentioned by you. At one point you mentioned putting up $2,000 of your own money and then you said you would put $500 up of your own money. Scott Farmer is a good friend of mine and he is an honest promoter as you pointed out. I told him that there really wasn't a fit for you for our June show because it wouldn't make me any money by having you on. I understand that Cujo struck a nerve with you and I admire your fighting spirit and your eagerness to fight him. But that, along with your limited experience, and the high likelihood that this fight will not make me any money is the reason you're not fighting on Cujo.

Tony's got the offer already. And, like I said before, it's a good offer for an 8 round non-televised fight. Tony can make more money than George Rivera made when he went to Baltimore to fight an 18 and 0 Jesse Nicklow in September of last year. You say show them the money. The money has been shown! The weight issue is now a non-issue and we can even use 8 oz. gloves in the fight. Cujo has already signed his contract. Now it's up to Tony Jeter. We shall wait and see. I'm hopeful the fight can be made and if it happens make sure you don't miss it!
