Update to April 10 Card in Baltimore!

The Baltimore Pro Boxing on Friday, April 10 at Du Burns Arena is coming together. Here's what's on tap so far:

The main event remains the 10-round matchup for the Maryland State Light Heavyweight title -- the third matchup between Baltimore Boxers Henry "Hurricane" Mayes and Willie "For Real" Williams. The first two contests ended in draws.

The co-feature will involve undefeated Baltimore welterweight James "Keep 'Em Sleepin'" Stevenson in a matchup scheduled for either six or eight rounds depending on who the opponent will be.

In an eight-round rematch, Baltimore junior welterweight Tim "Pit Bull" Coleman will take on Bladensburg, MD-based Carlos "El Perro" Cisneros.

Undefeated Brandywine, MD heavyweight Seth "Mayhem" Mitchell will take on Monroe, LA's Andrew Greeley in a six-round contest.

Two of the Beltway Rookie Class of 2009 will try to build on their pro debut successes. Lightweight Emmanuel Taylor of Edgewood, MD will face DC's Derrick White, who will be making his pro debut. Baltimore junior welterweight Angelo Ward will also be in a four-round contest against an opponent to be determined.

In another pro debut, Bladensburg, MD's Ty Wright will take on debuting Darrell Kelly of Indiana.

In other bouts on the card, Ellicott City, MD cruiserweight Robert "Mack Attack" McConnell will face Fred McClinton of Winston-Salem, NC in a four-round bout. McConnell will donate his purse to the Wounded Warriors Foundation in Fort Meade, MD. Also, Severna Park, MD's Shelly Sievert returns to face Rachel Clark of North Carolina in another four-round bout.

There are also three scheduled amateur contests on the card. You can hear Baltimore Pro Boxing head Jake Smith along with legendary trainer Kevin Rooney and Shelly Sievert on the 98 Rock Morning Show with Mickey, Amelia and Speigel this Wednesday morning at 7:10 AM.
