Corley Loses Controversial Decision in Arizona!

DC's DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley scored a knockdown in the third round, but it wasn't enough as the former world champion lost an eight-round unanimous decision to undefeated Hector "El Flaco" Sanchez of Puerto Rico in front of a nationally televised ESPN2 audience at the Desert Diamond Casino in Tucson, AZ.

Corley dropped Sanchez with a solid uppercut in the third and seemed to be doing well but lost his aggression in the later rounds. All three judges scored the bout 77-74. Terrible decision.

With the loss, Corley falls to 33-11-1, 19 KO's while Sanchez remains undefeated at 18-0, eight KO's.

Chop did get jerked last night. Obviously there was too much money in the PR prospect, but he knows that he didn't win that fight.

anytime you are the opponent you need a knockout to get a draw; all fighters should remember that.
