Undefeated Capitol Heights, MD featherweight Gary Russell, Jr. will open a ShoBox telecast on Saturday, March 28 at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, OK. Russell (2-0, one KO) will matchup against Kristen Magallon of Oxnard, CA (4-3, one KO) in a four-round contest.
Russell is coming off a four-round unanimous decision win over John Wampash on February 14 in Sunrise, FL. Magallon has lost his last two bouts.
The televised portion of the card will also include Andre Dirrell matching up against Derrick Findley and former American University basketball star Ronald Hearns (son of Tommy) taking on Harry Joe Yorgey.
