This late result: Takoma Park, MD super middleweight Willis "The Prophet" Lockett won a four-round split decision over Dante Craig on March 14 in Cincinnati, OH.
Lockett won by scores of 40-36 and 39-37. Craig received a score of 39-37. With the win, Lockett raises his record to 11-7-5, four KO's. Craig, a member of the 2000 US Olympic team, falls to 17-9-1, 13 KO's and has lost five in a row.
Lockett is slated to take on New Castle, DE's Larry "The Laser" Marks in a six-round contest on April 24 in Dover, DE. Marks (29-10-1, 16 KO's) has not fought since his eight-round unanimous decision loss to Mike Paschall on May 29 at Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, MD.
