Jargal Wins By KO in Winchester!

All I have are results, but I'm expecting for a full report from my Fightnews.com colleague Joe Gradowski sometime on Sunday for the Left Hook Boxing card at the Winchester Sportsplex in Winchester, VA tonight.

The main event saw Arlington, VA lightweight "The Mongolian Mongoose" Bayan Jargal remain undefeated with a third-round knockout over Reggie Nash of Grand Rapids, MI. Jargal is now 11-0-1, eight KO's while Nash falls to 9-21-1, two KO's.

In the co-feature, Warren "The Mack" Clatterbuck of Front Royal, VA won a six-round unanimous decision over the debuting Dave Spechlor of Winchester. Clatterbuck is now 7-0, three KO's.

Heavyweight "Big" Jon Haggler of Arlington, VA scored a second-round knockout over Benito Fernandez of Spartansburg, SC. Haggler is now 19-3, 14 KO's while Fernandez is now 19-17, six KO's.

In other bouts on the card, Winchester heavyweight Scott Hosaflook won his first pro bout, capturing a four-round unanimous decision over the returning John Stewart of DC. Hosaflook is now 1-3 while Stewart is 3-12.

Front Royal cruiser Danny "Demon" Shull also saw a pro victory for the first time as he defeated the debuting Abloyt Abashi, now fighting out of Silver Spring by way of Ghana by four-round unanimous decision.

And the celebrated pro debut of Arlington's Justin Ridgeway was a successful one as he captured a four-round unanimous decision over DC's Calvin "Shotgun" Aughtrey, who is now 0-6.

Jargal showed two things last night.
First that he is not superman,(at this point anyway). But second and most importantly, that he has what it takes to make it to the top in this busniess.Nash Dropped Jargal
with some very sharp shots but to Bayans credit he showed championship stock by getting up and stopping Nash the very next round.Job well done by Jargals team.

Jargal is dangerous as hell. I have seen him 5 times and he is now putting punches together with power and speed. He ko'd that kid with a 3 punch combo leading with a jab to the body followed by a straight right and left hook. The fact that he got up and finished Nash in the very next round is incredible. He is a destroyer and his preparation is superb. I don't think he's ever been down but he and his corner handled the situation very well.. I repeat this kid is scary strong and an accurate as hell power puncher. Wish he would jab more but who th hell will argue with success. Class act situation top to bottom. Congrats to Jargal and his handlers.

This was also my first time seeing Jargal and he is razor sharp. Ridgway looked good in his pro debut after a slow start.
